Terms and conditions of Bidest Bank Account electronic statements
These Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time, apply to the e-mailing of statements by Bidvest Bank Limited,("we/us") to the Customer ("you/your") and constitute an agreement.
  1. By your agreeing to the electronic delivery of your statements, the electronic statement will be regarded as the ORIGINAL.
  2. You must be an existing customer and you must be the accountholder of the account to which your electronic statement/s relate.
  3. You will receive encrypted e-mails delivered to the e-mail address provided in your account opening form or as advised by you to us in writing thereafter.
  4. It is your responsibility to print your electronic statement. We cannot take responsibility if a customer chooses to receive statements electronically but is unable to print the statements.
  5. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that no unauthorized person/s and/or third party have access to your e-mail or your password. In the event that an unauthorized person/s and/or third party gains access to your e-mail or your password, we shall under no circumstances whatsoever, be held liable for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of your confidential information being disclosed.
  6. We have no control over electronic statements being received by you and you agree that we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused to you as a result non-receipt of, or delay in receiving, your electronic statements.
