With a minimum deposit of R5 000, funds can be invested for a period of one to twelve months at a fixed interest rate for the term of the investment.

Interest is calculated daily and is payable monthly or on maturity.

Pensioners (age 55 and up) qualify for an extra 0.25% interest when opening a 12 month fixed deposit account at Bidvest Bank.
