Steps to Ordering
Note: Only available for individuals
- Begin by registering for online forex ordering.
- Log in to the online system.
- Insert travel details
- Insert currency type and value. The rand value will be calculated at the current exchange rate.
- Pay via EFT or with a debit or credit card.
- Finally, you can decide whether to collect the currency from your nearest branch, or have it delivered directly to your door (pre-approved locations only). Note deliveries are only available in US Dollars, British Pounds and Euros.
Requirements for Collection or Delivery
Previous or existing forex customers:
- Green bar-coded identity document
New customers must present original documents of the following:
- Green bar-coded identity document
- Travel arrangements
- Proof of residential address
- Passport
Please note: If your FICA documents have expired, or you have changed address, it will be necessary for
you to submit a new set of documents. In terms of legislation, proof of
identity, residential address and travel arrangements are required to purchase
foreign exchange.
